Dear Members,Last week, the World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Business and the broader community in the UK, Italy and beyond has been feeling the impact of the spread of COVID-19 as well its secondary effects in relation to travel, business and other disruptions.
The Chamber is committed to protecting the well-being of our Members, team and community. For this reason, we will postpone our in-person events and meetings.
The Chamber’s priority is to continue providing value and support to our Members over this period of uncertainty. For this reason, we are focused on keeping our community connected, informed and heard. Further to this, we will continue to drive networking via introductions across our network, deliver content via digital channels and advocate for strong policy outcomes for our Membership. The Chamber team would be pleased to speak with you on any specific needs or requests you may have in relation to the above and to hear what would be most valuable for your business in the coming months.
We will continue to monitor developments, follow Government advice to ensure the well-being of our team and community and keep you advised on our future initiatives.
We will be keeping in touch and send our thoughts to all of those who have been affected by these difficult circumstances.Thank you to all of you for your support and understanding over this time. Best Regards,Alessandro BelluzzoPresident – Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK
