Exploring Southern Italy

The ICCIUK presents a new online masterclass within the True Italian Taste project*, aimed at promoting authentic Italian products abroad.

“Exploring Southern Italy” is an unmissable wine masterclass led by Peter McCombie MW, addressed at operators of the food&drink sector in the United Kingdom.

During the tasting, guests will have the opportunity to discover:

• Ravello Bianco, Costa d’Amalfi DOC (Marisa Cuomo, Campania)
• Giunco, Vermentino di Sardegna DOC (Cantina Mesa, Sardinia)
• SP68 Bianco, Terre Siciliane IGT (Arianna Occhipinti, Sicily)
• Pellirosso Negroamaro, Salento IGT (Coppi, Puglia)
• Carusu, Etna DOC (Terrazze dell’Etna, Sicily)
• Teodosio Aglianico Del Vulture BIO (Basilisco, Basilicata)

The objective of the event is to discover the True Italian Taste project, whilst discussing the importance of denominations and how these products are linked to their territory of origin.

* The True Italian Taste project, part of the “The Extraordinary Italian Taste” programme, is supported and funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
