On the occasion of the 4th World Week of Italian Cuisine, the Scottish Branch of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK, the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Edinburgh are proud to present two official events.
This year the Week will be focusing on the topic “Educazione alimentare, la cultura del gusto” (Food Education, the culture of taste) and it has the objective of highlighting the distinctive traits of the Italian culinary tradition and agri-food industry. The programme for the week will be as follows:
A Cena con Leandro Luppi: Variazioni Alimentari sul Lago di Garda

This dinner promises to offer to sector’s experts (journalists, bloggers, importers, etc.) the very best of the Lake Garda area’s food and the best wine and Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore from the Veneto region, all within a classy and relaxed atmosphere. Divino’s staff and Michelin starred chef Leandro Luppi, from Restaurant Vecchia Malcesine, will come together to let our guests experience an authentic lake area dinner.

An informative evening where academic talks and products’ presentations will be accompanied by the delicious food prepared by Michelin starred chef Leandro Luppi, from Restaurant Vecchia Malcesine. Our guests will learn about healthy food and lifestyle while trying first-hand some of the best products from the Veneto region and the Lake Garda area.
The events have been organised with the contribution of Allegrini, Ambasciatori del Gusto, Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, Divino Enoteca, Felicetti, Loison Pasticceria dal 1938, Vecchia Malcesine Ristorante and Victor & Carina Contini.
