We are glad to present a new event organised within the True Italian Taste project*, a cooking class that will take place on Friday 30th July at Eataly (Liverpool Street, London).
“Cook up a storm with Eataly” will be a unique occasion for media influencers and journalists to discover some authentic Italian products that are not yet well-known in the UK, and learn two new recipes.
Eataly’s chef will begin the event with a tasting of Culatello di Zibello PDO (a cured meat from Parma), Prosciutto di Parma PDO and Parmigiano Reggiano.
Melone Mantovano PGI, red Mazara prawns PDO, San Marzano tomatoes, Stracciatella cheese and Gragnano pasta PGI will be the main ingredients of the two main dishes that the guests will prepare following the chef’s directions.
The objective of the event is to discover the True Italian Taste project, whilst discussing the importance of denominations and how these products are linked to their territory of origin.
Please note that places are limited.
* The True Italian Taste project, part of the “The Extraordinary Italian Taste” programme, is supported and funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Realised by the joint effort of Assocamerestero and the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad, the project is aimed at promoting and safeguarding authentic Italian food & drink products.
