We are pleased to invite you to the event “Re-Generation. Italian Design and new technologies for a sustainable future” organised for the VI edition of the Italian Design Day 2022 by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK – North West Office and the Consulate of Italy in Manchester.
The purpose is to strengthen the connotation of Italian Design as a distinctive element of the Italian Brand and to sustain opportunities for entry into and/or expansion on international markets for operators in the sector. The event takes place in the framework of the Italian Design Day – IDD 2022, an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and international Cooperation of Italy to promote international participation at the 61st edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan (7 – 12 June 2022).
The roundtable will discuss the links between design and sustainability in architecture, highlighting the role played by the inclusion of new generations and technologies. We will reflect on the challenges to which design is called to respond to in a post-pandemic globalised world: the promotion of an ecological transition in our lifestyles, capable of combining functionality and wellbeing and reducing its environmental impact while making use of technological innovation.
The event will take place on Wednesday 23rd March 5pm at The Lowry (Media City, Manchester) M50 3AZ and will be followed by networking drinks and light refreshments kindly offered by our sponsors P&D Italian Deli and Zonin.
