Obiettivo UK: il mercato britannico

The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the United Kingdom is delighted to organise, in collaboration with Regione Autonoma Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Sprint Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Finest, a webinar on Wednesday 15^th February from 12:00 to 13:00.

The webinar aims at providing a presentation of the British market and its opportunities to better understand the approach to the UK economy and give advice on how to start expanding businesses, with two main focuses on the agri-food sector and the design sector.

Speakers:

• Daniel Gava, Board Advisor to the Design Industry 

Daniel Gava has more than twenty-five years of professional experience in the design industry and has been employed in key roles within the departments of marketing, PR, sales and board of directors in well-known international high-end furniture manufacturers. He lived and worked in Italy, Spain, United States and since 2011 he is based in London where he currently works as an independent board advisor assisting top companies and designers grow their brand and business. Daniel is Design Patron of the Design Museum, Affiliate Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and Ambassador of the London School of Architecture. He has been nominated Testimonial for the Italian Design Day 2022 by the Italian Consulate in Manchester. 

• Roberto Costa, Founder of RC Group

Roberto Costa was born and raised in Genoa, the heart of Liguria region, well-known as a culinary treasure of the peninsula. After being brought up in the family-run trattoria, he opened a number of successful restaurants around Italy before moving to London where he opened the famed Macellaio RC in South Kensington in 2012, awarded with “three prawns” by Gambero Rosso, that now has 5 other locations in London (Exmouth Market, Union Street, Fitzrovia, Battersea and Soho) and one in Italy (Milan). Elected “man of the year” in 2017, Roberto Costa has become an important point of reference for many Italian people coming to the UK. Thanks to his passion for food and his knowledge about hospitality, in 2017 he was appointed Gourmet Ambassador and also awarded as the first Genoese Ambassador in the world.
