Italy-UK Partnership
UP FRONT | 01 www.italchamind.eu Dear Members, Welcome to our autumn edition of “Italy – UK Partnership” focused on Fintech and Green Economy. The Covid-19 crisis has further accentuated the requirement for businesses to shift towards greater digitalisation and sustainability. Both Italy and the UK provide excellent examples of such trends. In our magazine you will find out about Manchester’s progressive vision to become carbon-neutral by 2038, the impact of Agritech on Welsh farming, the latest developments in the Italian Fintech ecosystem, and much more. The autumn edition also introduces the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) which will take place in 2021 in Glasgow, with Italy hosting several key preparatory events such as a Youth Event and the Pre-COP Summit. Our Scottish Branch is already collaborating with local and Italian stakeholders, with the aim of enriching the events calendar and promoting Scotland’s investment opportunities. Fintech and Green Economy will also be the main topics of our 42nd Annual Conference, while Brexit developments will be tackled in a multitude of webinars and round tables throughout autumn (more information can be found on our website). In such ever changing scenario, our Chamber will keep supporting its members as well as Italian companies interested in the UK market by providing guidance, offering business services and organising (digital) events. If you have an interest in collaborating with us in “Italy – UK Partnership” winter edition or in the organisation of a webinar, please do not hesitate to contact our team. We thank you, our readers and members, for your continued support and encouragement in the projects that we undertake.
