Italy-UK PARTNERSHIP

PARTNERSHIP | Spring 2019 02 | THE PRESIDENT’S PERCEPTION Transparency is a defining characteristic in any association, as members must always be aware of the life of the organisation and must know how they can benefit more from the strength of being together. In a time of change as this particular one at the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK (ICCIUK), members must be provided with timely information and their feedback must be taken in to due consideration. Members of the ICCIUK are aware of the changes such as our activities outside London (Scotland, North East,Wales, Ireland, including the project of creating a new Chamber in Dublin), as well as the huge refurbishment investment at the head office in London, the relationships with ENIT and ITA, and the evolution of governance with the election in June of the new ICCIUK President. All of our actions have been dedicated to achieving a smooth transaction ensuring that everybody has at heart the future success of the activity of the Chamber. We therefore think it is useful to publish the requirements that have been established by the electoral commission for the candidate of the presidency. Candidacy criteria for President of the ICCIUK: 1. Entrepreneur and established member of the Chamber. 2. Knowledge of Italian and British economy and cross border relationships. 3. Knowledge of the activities of the ICCIUK and some degree of participation to those activities. 4. Preferably with Board experience in general and in particular the board of the ICCIUK. 5.
