Italy - UK Partnership

BUSINESS | 11 www.italchamind.eu consultants prefer to customise the cabins and to give their own signature to the project. Therefore, Starpool is able to customise the cabins following the requests of their partners. Starpool has also the “Professional collections (sweet and glamour)”, which are the correct product for those looking for high functional and reliable installations, such as gyms and hotel Spas. Virgin is our customer in different countries and one of our projects was carried out at the London Mansion House Club. In the home market, the best seller is the “Soul collection”. This includes cabins available in several dimensions (from 1,500 mm to 2,850 mm), finishing (for instance solid surface or retro-painted glass for steam baths; black savu fir or hemloc for saunas) and that can be customised (with remote control and shower head). ICC: Did Brexit affect your business in the past 2 years? CC: Partially. The biggest effect is related to time. Several projects have been delayed because the owners/ project leaders were not sure about Brexit consequences on their business; therefore, they preferred to put the project on “stand-by” instead of rushing to finish it in an uncertain environment. ICC: What will be the most important challenge for your industry in the next years? CC: The holistic well-being experience. Starpool aims to reach this objective by linking floating and mindfulness with a specific product called ZEROBODY. It is a dry floating bed that combines dry floatation (the customer can use it whenever they want, with their clothes on) with a mindfulness meditation path (nu_relax). To support this project, we are running several medical-scientific researches in order to enforce the studies, already available, that demonstrate that floatation is a real boost for mindfulness experience. Trying to bring well-being inside private homes is a trend identified by Global Wellness Institute and Zerobody is really the easiest way to reach it. In the last few years, we saw a growing attention by consumers to sustainability. Can a spa be sustainable in terms of electricity? CC: Yes, it is possible mainly through 2 different approaches, both focused on electricity consumption. In the professional market, we can control the power used to heat cabins through a system (ECHO SPA TECHNOLOGY) that is able to calibrate the power, switching on different cabins in different moments, reaching an average reduction of 20% yearly. In the home market, we can connect the cabin with a personal mobile, giving the user the opportunity to switch the cabin on only when needed, along with a GREEN PACK which controls the opening of the door. · Starpool Via Stazione 25, 38030 Ziano di Fiemme (TN) - Italy + 39 0462 571 881 info@starpool.com [FB] @Starpool [Instagram] @Starpool.Official [TW] #starpool #starpoolwellnessconcept Photography courtesy of Starpool Hotel Eden in Andalo, Italy
