Leasys UK, the joint venture between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance and a leading player in multi-brand operational leasing, has partnered with GB3 driver, Edward Pearson, in a new sponsorship agreement.
The GB3 Championship is the UK’s premier single-seater category, aimed at young racing drivers who have progressed from karting or the FIA Formula 4 Championship.
Having already established himself as a successful driver in the world of karting, Edward Pearson is returning to the GB3 Championship for a second year, as he pursues his goal of becoming a professional F1 driver.
The new sponsorship will see Leasys UK establish itself within the motorsport community, an innovative and dynamic industry, with which Leasys shares its values, such as the continuous research and investment in digitalization and technologies.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Matthew Boswell, Managing Director Leasys UK, said: “We are excited to announce our new sponsorship supporting Edward Pearson in the 2024 GB3 Championship season. A very talented driver with a strong track record, our collaboration allows us to expand our audience and enter the exciting and dynamic world of motorsport.”
Edward Pearson added: “I can’t wait to get the new race season underway with Leasys. I had a good debut season last year and we have been working hard over the winter break to be in the best position possible for the first race.”
